Product Overview

The Philips X7‑2t is a transesophageal transducer featuring xMatrix array technology combined with PureWave crystal technology. It operates across an extended frequency range of 7 to 2 MHz, making it suitable for a wide variety of adult TEE applications. This transducer supports multiple imaging modes including 2D imaging, Live xPlane, Live 3D, 3D Zoom, Full Volume, and 3D color modes.

The X7‑2t includes a user configurable button on the handle to help improve exam efficiency and workflow. It also comes with an ECG interface cable and a disposable tip protector. The transducer utilizes both PureWave and xMatrix technologies and contains 2500 elements. The array type is PureWave and xMatrix with a proprietary aperture. It offers a field of view of 90 degrees and a volume field of view of 98 degrees by 98 degrees. The X7‑2t is designed specifically for adult TEE applications and is not biopsy capable nor does it support image fusion navigation.

System Compatibility

It is primarily compatible with Philips premium ultrasound systems, including the EPIQ 5/7, Affiniti 50/70, CX50, and iE33.
