Product Overview

The Sonosite P21x/5-1 is a broadband phased array ultrasound transducer designed primarily for deep imaging in cardiac and abdominal assessments. Manufactured by Fujifilm Sonosite, it is widely used in emergency medicine, trauma FAST exams, and critical care due to its high‑resolution imaging and durable, compact design.

The transducer features a frequency range of 1 to 5 MHz and is a phased array or sector array type. It is capable of reaching a scan depth of up to 35 centimeters with a footprint of 21 millimeters.

The P21x is a versatile tool used across multiple medical specialties. For cardiac imaging, it supports adult cardiac assessments. In abdominal applications, it is used for deep tissue scans and FAST exams for trauma.
