What Our Students Say
“It was great to be given a wholesome overview of what ultrasound machines do and how they work by a great professional”
“The science behind ultrasound and its clinical applications. I enjoyed better understanding the transducer types, transducer frequencies, and how and why one probe might be better for a clinical practice than another”
“I found that the trainer was very knowledgeable and explained the concepts of ultrasound well. The subject matter was well organized, and I feel that I am more knowledgeable about ultrasound now than before I took the training”
“Important reasons for regular maintenance of ultrasound machines include improving safety, compliance, and cost reduction by identifying minor issues before they become major failures. The most valuable part was the hands-on portion. Disassembling and reassembling the ultrasound machine helped me understand the machine and its components”
“I attended both training sessions. The basic class was very informative about how ultrasounds function and operate, along with how they are actually used and what each probe does. The advanced training was more hands-on with the Philips Epiq CX, which is the type of ultrasound we have in the cardiac OR, so it was more relevant to our day-to-day operations. We do not repair or PM these units, so it was also interesting to learn. Overall, it was nice to learn something new, and the trainer was very knowledgeable about various ultrasound devices”
“Great course overall. Jim is very knowledgeable and kept the class engaged. Very thankful for the knowledge I gained”
