Product Overview

The Sonosite L25x is a high‑frequency linear array ultrasound transducer primarily designed for high‑resolution imaging of superficial structures. It operates within a frequency range of 13 to 6 MHz and is highly valued for point‑of‑care applications such as vascular access, musculoskeletal imaging, and nerve blocks.

The transducer features a broadband linear array with a scan depth of up to 6 centimeters. It supports 2D imaging, B‑mode, and color and power Doppler modes. The L25x is compatible with CIVCO Infiniti Plus in‑plane needle guides and AccuSITE out‑of‑plane guides.

The L25x is a versatile tool used across several medical specialties for both diagnostic and procedural guidance. In vascular applications, it is used for arterial and venous imaging including PICC line placement and peripheral IV access. For musculoskeletal imaging, it visualizes tendons, ligaments, and small joints. In nerve applications, it helps visualize nerves for regional anesthesia and pain management. For superficial and small parts imaging, it is used for examining the thyroid, breast, lungs, and even ophthalmic exams in specific system configurations.

System Compatibility

This probe is compatible with several portable Sonosite ultrasound systems including the Sonosite M‑Turbo, Sonosite Edge and Edge II, and Sonosite SII.
