Product Overview

The PVT-781VT is a high-performance endocavity (transvaginal/endorectal) ultrasound probe originally developed by Toshiba and now manufactured and sold under Canon Medical Systems following their acquisition of Toshiba’s medical division. This specialized transducer allows clinicians to bypass the limitations of standard abdominal probes for detailed internal imaging.

• Frequency Range: Broad bandwidth spanning approximately 3.0 – 11.0 MHz (or up to 12 MHz depending on specific system configuration)
• Field of View: Up to 180° for panoramic visualization of internal structures

Primary Applications

This probe is highly specialized for internal imaging environments and is mainly used in:

• Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN): Assessing ovarian follicles, the endometrium, the cervical canal, and early fetal development
