Advanced Ultrasound Systems offers practical, hands-on training that is ideal for biomedical technicians and field service engineers. Through our courses, prospective or practicing stenographers and technologists learn to understand key issues that impact imaging and ultrasound systems while also learning the proper ways to maintain and service any installed systems with confidence. With specialized classes for all major OEM brands, class instructor Jim Carr has extensive experience in field service, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, product development and technical support during his time at Technicare, Johnson & Johnson Ultrasound and Acuson.
In addition to gaining technical knowledge, students of Advanced Ultrasound Systems’ training programs also receive priority service on parts requests as well as extended telephone or Skype technical support in the field. This is yet another way that we stand behind what we teach and ensure that our students are making a positive impact in the imaging industry wherever advanced repairs at a component-level are needed. Through our hands-on learning sessions, students can learn system theory, troubleshooting steps, preventative maintenance training and quality assurance.
What Should I Expect?
AUS regularly holds classes in our new dedicated training facility located at our headquarters in Tulsa, OK. Students have access to dozens of ultrasound systems and the expertise of Advanced Ultrasound Systems techs and engineers. Students graduate our classes knowing how to service systems and complete performance testing that ensures maximum up-time and clinical efficacy, with or without OEM cooperation.
With over 30 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, Jim Carr is our lead instructor.
